We won't forget - And we won't give up

from Marissa Graciosa

We won't forget
And we won't give up

On Saturday in the Senate, we saw small-minded, heartless politicians show their true colors.

In an appalling show of callousness, the Senate stopped the DREAM Act. A few Republican senators broke from their party to stand with us on the side of justice, but the rest of them voted no. Even a handful of Democrats joined them in stalling the dreams of millions.

To every single Senator who voted against deserving youth: we will not forget this.

Send a message to Senators who voted ‘no’: we’ll remember what you did. Click on the headline above.

The courageous DREAMers will continue to lead and will continue to fight. The work you’ve done to stand with them and get this far won’t be forgotten. We won’t forget who stood up for us, and we’ll definitely remember who killed the DREAM.

This battle isn’t over. Not by a long shot. Our movement will always stand together, and we’ll never stop fighting.

What part of illegal do you lefties not get? If they come here legal, welcome. Illegally, send 'em back. What is wrong with you bleeding heart commies?
Why don't you go to any of the countries mentioned herein. I will gladly pay your ticket one way.

What Would Happen If We Called Their Bluff on Their “Game”? John Randolph 12-21-2010

I believe that the elite who influence and/or run the Untied States and Mexican Governments have always conspired to exploit the Mexican poor at the expense of US taxpayers.
Their “game” is designed to keep this perpetual exploitation in motion. They rich stay rich. The Mexican poor keep coming. Average US taxpayers keep losing their jobs while footing the bill for America’s medical and educational expenses for the Mexican poor.
Historically hundreds of thousands of Mexico’s poor laborers have been caught crossing our southern border. This “game” has depended upon these poor voluntarily returning to Mexico. After being returned, most play and have played again until their crossings were successful.
Here are two of many examples of how the elite profit from this “game”:
1) The Mexican elite profit by not paying for the educational and medical expenses of their poor.
2) The American elite profit from a never ending supply of cheap labor for their corporations.
The “game” is naturally dangerous. People who are poor and have starving families to feed will run to avoid apprehension. Many of them have been hurt or have died while crossing. US Border Patrol Agents also get hurt and sometimes get killed while enforcing the law. Innocent US citizens have been hurt or killed as the result of car chases and crashes.
