Immigrants In USA Blog

Some people think there are enough people here now -- people have been saying this since the 1700s and it still is not true. They are needed to make up for our aging population and low birthrate. Immigrants often are entrepreneurs, creating jobs. We must help them become Americans and not just people who live here and think of themselves as visitors. When immigrants succeed here, the whole country benefits.

About the Blog and Me

My photo
Donna Poisl
Tucson, Arizona, United States
This blog is intended to give news and information about and for immigrants to our country. I try not to give bad news, this is mostly positive news, including what the government is doing for immigration reform. I find stories published in papers and websites and give you links to them. I am the author of the book "How to Live and Thrive in the United States". This is a bilingual (English and Spanish) guide to living here, written especially for new immigrants. If you need information about the book, please email: livethrive@cox.net.
