Tech group releases immigration app

The advocacy group funded by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is out with a new technological tool in its push for immigration reform: an app that lets you earn “points” for contacting your representative in Congress.

FWD.us unveiled its Push4Reform app on Thursday. It is the product of a hackathon in November that featured so-called DREAMers, undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children.

Created by three DREAMers, Push4Reform won “Best Advocacy” at the hackathon.
