Every year, TIME Magazine holds a contest recognizing an individual,
group, or item that has made a significant impact on the world that
year. Previous honorees have included Mark Zuckerberg, Ben Bernanke,
and Barack Obama. Undocumented immigrants—new Americans—are currently
4th on the list. That's AHEAD of President Obama, Stephen Colbert, and
Hillary Clinton!
We could really win this. Vote to make “undocumented immigrants” TIME’s Person of the Year 2012 here.
TIME’s editors will make the ultimate decision, but that doesn’t mean we
shouldn’t have our say. It’s been a fantastic year for our movement,
between the announcement of deferred action for DREAMers and the
strength of the Latino vote in last month’s election. Immigrants have
changed history this year—and it's time they get recognition for it. Please vote!
Thanks,
Van Le
